Video: Assessing hydropower projects against good practices in sustainability

Since its launch in 2011, the Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol has become the leading international tool for measuring the sustainability of hydropower projects.

It is used to assess both new projects and existing facilities according to a range of social, environmental, technical and economic criteria, and has so far been applied in more than 25 countries.

International Sustainable Energy Summit, Kuching

Event description

The International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) is a knowledge-based platform specifically focusing on renewable energy and energy demand management. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) and the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia.

The inaugural summit was held in November 2012 and being a biennial event, 2018 will be the 4th summit. The summit spans over two days and has two components: the conference and mini exhibition.
